MQA Internship Programme 2025–2027
The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is offering a 24-month internship programme aimed at unemployed South African graduates who have never participated in any internship programme before. This is a valuable opportunity to gain workplace experience in the mining and skills development sector.

1. Learning Programmes Operations
Qualifications:
- National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in:
- Human Resources Development/Management
- Public Administration/Management
- Training
2. Strategic Planning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- HR Management/Development
- Administration
- Public Governance / Public Management
- Advantageous: Honours/Postgraduate in the above fields (NQF 8)
3. Stakeholder Relations
Qualifications:
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in:
- HR Development/Management
- Business Administration
- Public Relations / Communication
- Social Science or equivalent
- Advantageous: Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in the above fields
4. Risk and Compliance
Qualifications:
- Honours / Postgraduate Diploma (NQF 8) in:
- Risk Management
- Auditing
- Accounting
- Business Management / Administration
- Public Management / Commerce
5. Office of the CEO
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Honours Degree (NQF 7/8) in:
- Business Administration
- Management
