About the Programme
The Santam Learnership Programme is an entry-level development initiative designed to grow a sustainable pipeline of skilled professionals in the financial services sector. Through this programme, participants will complete NQF Level 4 training and the FSCA RE5 regulatory exam, setting them on a path toward professional membership of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA).
Who Should Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Aged between 18–28 years
- Hold a Grade 12 certificate with:
- Minimum 50% in English and a Second Language
- Minimum 40% in Mathematics or 60% in Mathematical Literacy
- Be unemployed
- Not enrolled in any other studies during the learnership
- Not have completed a previous Short-Term Insurance Learnership through INSETA
- Have less than 1 year of work experience
Note: Candidates with post-matric qualifications (e.g., diplomas, degrees) or currently studying are not eligible.
