The Beefmaster Group invites eligible students to apply for the Beefmaster Group Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year.

Bursary Location: South Africa (studies at recognised tertiary institutions)
Fields of study funded
Bursaries will be awarded for full-time studies towards the following agricultural qualifications:
- B Agriculture (Animal Production)
- BSc Agriculture (Agricultural Economics)
- BSc Agriculture (Animal Science)
What the Beefmaster Group bursary covers
The Beefmaster Group bursary provides comprehensive financial support, covering:
- Tuition fees
- Accommodation
- Prescribed textbooks
- Other essential study-related costs
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to attend an interview. If you do not receive any feedback, please consider your application unsuccessful. Successful applicants will be required to sign a bursary agreement with the Beefmaster Group.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following minimum requirements:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed Matric
- Be studying towards one of the agricultural qualifications listed above
- Be entering your final year of study in 2026
- Have a strong academic record
- Demonstrate a clear passion for South Africa’s agricultural sector
Failure to meet any of the requirements may result in disqualification.

- Certified copy of your Matric certificate
- Full academic record (on institution letterhead)
- Brief CV (including personal details)
- Motivational letter (half a page) explaining why you should be awarded the bursary
