Bergrivier Municipality is recruiting two graduates for internships based at its head office in Piketberg.

The internships form part of the Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme established by National Treasury to strengthen financial-management capacity in municipalities.

Successful applicants will receive practical workplace experience and structured training in municipal financial management, supply chain management, internal auditing and risk management.

Financial Services Internship Requirements

Applicants must have a three-year bachelorโ€™s degree or National Diploma with majors in one or more of the following fields:

The successful candidate will receive structured training in the key performance areas of the municipalityโ€™s Internal Audit and Risk Management functions.

Internal Audit and Risk Management Requirements

  • Risk Management.
