Broadband Infraco SOC Limited invites qualified South African graduates to apply for its 2025 University Placement Programme and TVET Placement Programme opportunities.

Broadband Infraco is a leading state-owned enterprise that provides long-distance national and international optic fibre connectivity network infrastructure across South Africa. The organisation plays a critical role in bridging the digital divide by expanding broadband access and supporting South Africa’s ICT development.
The University and TVET Placement Programmes aim to provide unemployed youth with valuable workplace experience in Engineering and ICT, helping them complete their qualifications and launch their professional careers.
1. University Placement Programme (6 Months) – X2 Posts
Division: Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Completed theoretical studies (S4) towards a National Diploma OR N6 Certificate in:
- Electrical Engineering (Heavy or Light Current) OR
- Computer Science
- A letter from the university confirming that in-service training/work experience is required to complete the qualification
- No prior work experience required
Placement Locations
- Beaufort West – 1 Post (preference will be given to local residents)
- East London – 1 Post (preference will be given to local residents)
2. TVET Placement Programme (12 Months) – X8 Posts
Division: NOC (Network Operations Centre)
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Completed theoretical studies (N6) in:
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- A letter from the college confirming that in-service training/work experience is required to complete the qualification
- No prior work experience required
Location
- Gauteng Province (Radiokop Head Office)
Programme Benefits
Successful candidates will receive:
- A monthly stipend during the placement period
- Hands-on experience in Engineering and ICT operations
- Exposure to real-world infrastructure and fibre network environments
