About the Role
The Operations Excellence Analyst forms part of a newly created Efficiency Committee, acting as an internal operations governance and improvement function. Reporting directly to the Head of the Efficiency Committee, the role focuses on process mapping, SOP development, basic data analysis, KPI design, and operational audits.
This role is fact-based, process-oriented, and independent, working closely with frontline teams, management, HR, and senior leadership. It is well suited to final-year university students or recent graduates who can learn quickly, take responsibility, and adapt in a changing operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process & SOP Development
- Work on-site with operational teams to understand daily workflows
- Map end-to-end processes for key roles and functions
- Identify process gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and handover issues
- Develop and standardise SOPs, workflow diagrams, and operating guidelines
Data & Basic Performance Analysis
- Review operational data reports and dashboards
- Identify key data points and performance indicators
- Conduct basic data analysis to support operational improvement
- Link findings to measurable outcomes (efficiency, accuracy, compliance)
- Prepare structured, evidence-based reports
KPI Design & Management Support
- Support management in defining clear and actionable KPIs
- Explain KPI logic, measurement methods, and operational impact
- Assist departments in aligning KPIs with execution and processes
Operational Audit & Review
- Conduct on-site operational checks and data-based reviews
- Track KPI execution and identify deviations
- Assist with root-cause analysis and improvement actions

Minimum Requirements
Education
- Final-year university student or recent graduate
- Bachelor’s Degree
Data & Computer Skills
- Basic data analysis capability
- Ability to read and interpret reports
- Proficiency in:
- Excel (basic formulas, data organisation, simple analysis)
- PowerPoint or similar reporting tools
- Ability to learn internal systems quickly
