The Central Energy Fund (CEF SOC) invites applications from TVET College students to apply for its In-Service Training Programme 2025/2026.
Location: Sandton (8 positions) and SANPC Refinery (2 positions)

About the CEF
CEF is a Schedule 2 state-owned diversified energy company reporting to the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE). Its mandate is to secure South Africa’s energy supply through exploration, development, acquisition, marketing, and strategic partnerships.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Matric certificate and an N6 qualification in one of the following fields:
- HR Management
- Public Administration
- Business Management
- Supply Chain / Logistics
- Financial Management
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Letter from institution confirming completion of theoretical studies and need for in-service training
- Age: 16–25 years
- South African citizen
- Not currently enrolled in another in-service training or internship programme
Desired Competencies
- Attention to detail
- Ability to learn and multitask
- Good communication skills
Applicants will undergo personnel suitability checks, including criminal record, citizenship, financial, qualification, and reference checks. Preference will be given to South African citizens in line with the CEF Employment Equity Plan.
