About the Bursary Programme
The Cipla SA Bursary Programme provides relevant financial support to students whose fields of study match Cipla’s current and future skills requirements. In addition to funding, bursars may be required to participate in vacation work (vacwork) during specified breaks—offering real workplace exposure and the chance to turn academic knowledge into practical skills.

Academic requirement:
- Maintain a minimum 70% average for each year of study

Application Guidelines (Important)
- Apply online only via the Cipla careers system (incomplete applications are disqualified)
- You must be studying in one of the listed fields of study
- Documents (PDF format) must include:
- Single-page CV with photo
- Contact details (phone/email)
- South African ID number
- Funding requests must include supporting invoices/statements/quotes
- For private accommodation: lease agreement or landlord affidavit
- Approved funding is paid directly to the institution (never to a personal bank account)
- Funding is once-off per year and finalised by 30 March
- Bursary is reviewed annually, subject to maintaining a 70% average
