Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 10 qualification
- Basic Security Course (PSIRA)
- Registered as a Security Officer with PSIRA
- At least 1 year experience in a similar environment
- No criminal record or illicit activity recorded
- Willingness to work shifts as required
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Securing premises, assets, and personnel
- Performing access control duties
- Maintaining a visible security presence
- Assisting during emergencies
- Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and equipment
- Preventing crime and theft
- Performing administrative security functions
Important Notes
- Candidates may be requested to provide proof of NQF level qualifications
- Successful candidates without Matric/Grade 12 must obtain the qualification within 18 months
- If applicants do not receive feedback within six weeks after the closing date, applications should be regarded as unsuccessful
