The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Environmental and Infrastructure Service Department (EISD) is offering Internship opportunities to suitably qualified and unemployed graduates. The Interships will run for a a period NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months.
Position Title: Intern Admin Officer
Department: Environmental and Infrastructure Service Department (EISD) Salary: R9 043,21 pm
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department or organization;
• Ensure the efficient handling and management of documents;
• Gather, organize and disseminate Information relevant to the department;
• Facilitate effective communication within the department and with external stakeholders; • Assist in the organization and coordination of meetings;
• Make travel arrangements;
• Assist in printing and photocopying documents as and when required by the department;
Requirements:
National Diploma or Degree in: • Office Administration
• Business Administration
• Public Administration
• Administration
• or any tertiary qualification related to Administration.
Skills and Competencies:
• Computer literacy including MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
• High level of confidentiality and organisational skills;
• Time Management, working independently, under pressure, and ability to prioritise. • Sound numerical ability.
