About the Youth Employment Programme
The Youth Employment Programme is designed to provide:
- Classroom-based learning
- Practical on-the-job retail training
- Workplace exposure in a retail store environment
On successful completion, participants will receive:
- NQF Level 2 Checkout Operator Occupational Qualification
This qualification improves employability in the retail and customer service industry.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 29 years old
- Have passed Grade 12 / Matric
- Be currently unemployed
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be willing to work in a team environment
- Not be currently registered for any Learnership or Skills Programme
