About the CIPC Internship Programme 2026
The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) is offering a structured internship programme aimed at developing young graduates by providing practical workplace experience in the public sector.
The programme is designed to help graduates:
- Gain relevant work experience
- Develop professional skills
- Improve employability
Interns will be placed within the DMP Unit, where they will gain exposure to corporate and legal processes within the organisation.
Internship Details
- Programme: CIPC Internship Programme (DMP Unit)
- Location: Pretoria
- Duration: 12 months
- Stipend: R12 000 per month
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in:
- Commerce
- Business Management
- Accounting
- Law
- Must have completed at least one of the following subjects at second-year level:
- Corporate Law
- Entrepreneurial Law
- Commercial Law
- Or equivalent
Advantageous Knowledge
The following will be an added advantage:
- Knowledge of Business Rescue regime
- Research as a subject
Selection Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be unemployed
- Have completed a qualification from a recognised higher education institution
- Have no prior internship or work experience
- Not have participated in any internship programme before
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
