The Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) is offering a structured 24-month Internship Programme aimed at unemployed South African graduates seeking hands-on workplace experience in the public service. The programme supports skills development and provides practical exposure in the area of Public Sector Monitoring and Capacity Development.
This opportunity is open to graduates who have completed a National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration, accredited by SAQA. Applicants must be South African citizens, without prior participation in public service developmental programmes such as internships, learnerships, or in-service training.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A National Diploma or Degree in Public Administration, recognised by SAQA
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must not have been previously employed in any Public Service internship, in-service training, or developmental programme
- No criminal record

- Vetting
- Qualification verification
- Criminal record checks

- Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA
- Shortlisted candidates must be available for technical assessments and interviews
