About the Etion Create Bursary Programme 2026
This opportunity is open to students currently in their second or third year of study in BEng (Electronics) and/or BEng Computer Engineering.
This bursary is designed to support students who show academic excellence and innovation potential by covering tuition, registration fees, accommodation, meal vouchers, and prescribed textbooks — helping ease the financial burden and allowing students to focus fully on their studies.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID number
- Have completed Grade 12 with strong Mathematics and Science results
- Be in their 2nd or 3rd year of study in BEng (Electronics) or BEng Computer Engineering
- Submit matric and latest university academic transcripts
Note: This is not a salaried position. The bursary covers study-related expenses only.
Important Information
- The bursary cycle runs from January to December 2026
- Applications close on 17 October 2025
- Shortlisted candidates must be available for interviews in November 2025
- Successful applicants will be expected to participate in vacation work during 2026
