Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality (FTLM), in partnership with the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, is inviting applications for 299 internship opportunities under the Youth Graduate Programme implemented through the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).

This programme aims to:
- Create job opportunities for unemployed youth
- Promote Environmental Management within the municipality
- Address youth unemployment
- Support graduates and matriculants who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET)
The internship programme will run for 4 months.
Internship Fields and Stipend
1. Grade 12 (Unemployed)
- Must be residing within the municipal area of FTLM
- Minimum Daily Stipend: R165.00 per day
2. Diploma/Degree in Environmental-Related Fields (Unemployed)
Fields include:
- Environmental Sciences
- Agriculture
- Development Studies
- Safety Management
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
- Nature Conservation
- Any other Environmental-related qualification
- Must be residing within the municipal area of FTLM
- Minimum Daily Stipend: R271.04 per day
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be a young unemployed person aged 18 to 35 years
- Be innovative, dynamic and creative
- Have a commitment to career development in:
- Environmental Management
- Waste Management
- Occupational Health & Safety
- Climate and Biodiversity sectors
- Possess the required qualifications
