About the FirstJob Graduate Programme
The Graduate Trainee role is a development-focused position where successful candidates gain practical workplace experience while completing assigned tasks and projects.
Participants will work on various activities that support the business area, including research, analysis, administrative support, and project-related tasks.
The programme aims to help young graduates develop professional skills while preparing them for long-term career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be between 18 and 34 years old
- Must have obtained a relevant post-matric qualification
- Must have been unemployed for at least the past 6 months
- Must have little or no work experience (less than 12 months)
- This must be the candidate’s first job experience
- Must not have previously participated in the FirstJob Programme
- Must not have previously worked for FirstRand
