The willingness to commit to a full program which will enable the candidate to be trained in various activities within the Audit and Risk Management that support user departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with coordination and preparation of quarterly audit file and follow up on audit implementation register which may include work papers, flowcharts, narratives, sampling, and computer-assisted audit preparing techniques.
Perform follow up on monthly APP targets evidence files and analyse submitted information.
With the support of department management, execute aspects of the audit process, including planning, inter departmental coordination, control testing, work paper documentation, and reporting.
Obtain a thorough understanding of the company’s operational processes and supporting technologies used to support the user access management program.
Develop an understanding of key business applications and the business processes they support.
Assesses risks and the state of controls for entity-wide operations including information system/technology operations (data centres, application systems, development efforts, computing environments/technologies, and telecommunications)
Thinks strategically and communicates the risks and impact of controls to Audit and Risk office.
Documents significant processes and tests key control
PREREQUISITES
- Degree/ National Diploma in Internal Audit, Public Administration, or Accounting/Financial Management.
Competency in the following:
- Computer literacy (MS Office; database; internet)
