Garden Route District Municipality invites unemployed graduates to apply for 12 months Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

Salary: R 12 000 (Fixed Term Contract for a period of 12 months)
Internship Description:
- Garden Route District Municipality is fully committed to Employment Equity.
- Applications are invited for the following vacancy in the Roads and Transport Planning Services Department.
- Municipality Internships: Garden Route District Municipality (x2)
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Language proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape (Afrikaans and/or English and/or IsiXhosa)
Duties:
- Procuring of materials as per bill of quantities through the acting Deputy Manager
- Quality control of all site work
- Normal survey
- Verifying all deliveries on site
- Production Monitoring
- Process Control
- Sourcing of Material for lab test
- Assist with administration functions
- Slump and cube test of concrete works
- Supervision of EPWP teams

Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Garden Route District Municipal area.
