Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science
- Full N3 qualification with the following subjects:

- Engineering Science
- Mechano-Technology (Trade Theory)
- Engineering Drawing
Additional Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be medically fit for mining work
- Pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test
- Meet all occupational health requirements
