Job Description: Motus is offering an Accredited Competency Based Modular Training (CBMT) Apprenticeship at Haval Kempton Park. This apprenticeship combines on-the-job training (OJT) with related classroom instruction under the guidance of a Qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanic. The Imperial Technical Training Academy (ITTA) provides theoretical, classroom-based education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CBMT contract with merSETA and a learnership contract with Lindsay Saker Kempton Park.
  • Training program: Levels 1 – 4 with a 4-year contract.
  • 5 days of training in 5 weeks at ITTA.
  • Distance learning program – CDX.
  • Computer-based testing and examination.
  • Practical competency testing.
  • MIBCO minimum wages apply for CBMT Apprentice.
  • On-the-job experience at Haval Service department aligned with CBMT program levels.
  • Gather evidence for a portfolio of evidence required by ITTA.
  • Work alongside an assigned technician to learn quality service maintenance and repairs.


  • Matric (N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science, and English – 50% essential).
  • Driver’s license.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Mechanical insight test and pass.
  • Standard background checks and medical assessment for fitness.
  • Successful applicants undergo a Psychometric assessment and a face-to-face interview.

  • Customer Care.
