About the National Diploma and Graduate Internship Programme
The Hessequa Municipality Internship Programme provides hands-on workplace training for TVET N6 students and graduates, as well as structured exposure for university graduates.
The internship period ranges between 3 and 18 months, depending on the discipline and the operational needs of the municipality.

- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Office Management
- Human Resources
- Finance and Accounting
- Tourism
Internship Overview
TVET N6 Internship
- Target group: TVET College students who have completed National Certificate N6
- Purpose: Practical experience to obtain a National Diploma
- Monthly Stipend: R4 000
Graduate Internship
- Target group: Recent graduates from South African universities
- Monthly Stipend: R6 500
Preference will be given to candidates residing within the Hessequa region.
Eligibility and Conditions
Applicants must:
- Have completed N6 (TVET) or a relevant university qualification
- Be South African citizens
- Be willing to work at any of the municipal workplaces listed
- Submit a fully completed application form and all required documents

- Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Certified copies of qualifications and ID
- Proof of residence
- Banking details
- SARS Tax Number

Important Notes
- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered
