The Campus Care Worker (CCW) plays a crucial role in supporting students at TVET and CET colleges. You’ll help students navigate challenges and improve their overall well-being and academic success.
About the Role:
- Implement HIGHER HEALTH programs specifically designed for TVET and CET campuses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and supervise peer mentors and educators.
- Provide social support services and connect students with additional psychosocial support.
- Coordinate and mentor learners in civic and wellness skills programs.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with other sectors.
- Collect and report data.
- Advocate for student well-being through communication and lobbying efforts.
- Handle administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or social science (Master’s preferred).
- Registration with SACSSP or ASCHP.
- Driver’s license (advantageous).
Experience:
- Case management, report writing, and working with adolescents and young people.
- Data collection and reporting.
- Stakeholder management.
- Facilitation in capacity development and skills training.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Strong communication, coordination, and networking skills.
Qualities:
- Excellent administrative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective stakeholder management and ability to build networks.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and stress management skills.
- Proactive, innovative, and cross-culturally sensitive.
- Proficient in administration and filing.
