IkamvaYouth Internship/Learnerships 2024 / 2025
IkamvaYouth invites South African unemployed youth to apply for Learnership /Internship Programme 2025.

Location: South Africa
Interns will be placed in one of IkamvaYouth’s branches across various provinces:
- Western Cape: Nyanga, Gugulethu, Makhaza, Kuyasa, Masiphumelele, and Atlantis
- Gauteng: Mamelodi, Diepsloot, Ebony Park, and Ivory Park
- North West: Ikageng and Mahikeng
- KwaZulu-Natal: Umlazi and Centerville
- Eastern Cape: Joza
Stipend
- Monthly Stipend: R3,840.96
Programme Overview
The IkamvaYouth Internship Programme empowers learners by providing academic support, career guidance, and skills development. As an intern, you’ll gain a deep understanding of IkamvaYouth’s mandate and initiatives while completing relevant courses to enhance your knowledge and employability.
Who Can Apply?
- Unemployed IkamvaYouth alumni and volunteers with Grade 12, a Diploma, or a Degree
- Previous interns are welcome to reapply
- Applicants aged 18 to 34 years
- Candidates not currently enrolled in full-time studies and available for full-time internship
- Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply
Requirements
- Languages: Proficiency in both written and spoken English, plus a working knowledge of at least one other South African language
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with MS Office and Google Email/Drive
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
