KZN Dept of Social Development: Internships 2022 / 2023

KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Department of Social Development invites applications from South African unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.

REQUIREMENTS:

KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Department of Social Development is contributing towards skills development initiatives for the youth in the province by providing opportunities to unemployed graduates to gain workplace experience in various work disciplines. Applications are therefore invited from unemployed graduates to participate in the Internship Programme that will run for a period of 24 months contract, which will provide them with valuable work experience and increase their opportunities towards employment.  The department will pay a monthly stipend of R6172.00 to the Interns.

Candidates must be unemployed graduates residing in KwaZulu-Natal. Unemployed graduates must have completed tertiary qualifications (certificated through graduation) which is a three-year (3) Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma from a recognized University or College and have never participated in an Internship Programme from National, Provincial and Local government before. They must be prepared to relocate to any of the offices listed below at own costs. Candidates must be computer literate, prepared to undergo a selection process that will include a structured interview.

Applications must be on a fully completed Z83 form (obtainable at any Public Service Department) with a detailed CV including contact telephone number, physical and postal address, copies of ID and qualifications. Applicants must indicate the specific area of placement between Head office in Pietermaritzburg and in twelve District Offices respectively. Applications must state clearly the business unit they are applying for and quote the relevant reference number.
