About Land Bank

Programme Purpose
The Actuarial Learnership Programme is aimed at:
- Equipping graduates with practical work experience.
- Developing professional and technical skills in actuarial and insurance-related disciplines.
- Providing mentorship and career growth opportunities.
- Offering exposure to both workplace duties and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Learners will be required to:
- Complete allocated duties professionally under the guidance of a mentor.
- Develop personal skills in their specialist qualification area.
- Handle administrative tasks as allocated.
- Conduct research, compile reports, presentations, memorandums, and other documents.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must hold a tertiary qualification in one of the following fields:
- Actuarial Sciences
- Mathematical Statistics
- Data Science
- Insurance-related studies
Experience: No prior work experience after completion of studies.
Critical Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Deadline-driven, with high energy and enthusiasm
- Strong initiative and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
