Lion Match Products (Roslyn) in partnership with FP&M SETA is implementing Apprenticeship in
Fitting and Turning, targeting local young, energetic and previously disadvantaged individuals
who want to pursue a Mechanical Engineering career in a manufacturing environment.
The primary purpose of the apprenticeship is to provide 18 months practical experience to the
NATED/NCV Mechanical Engineering Graduates in order to prepare the graduates for the relevant
Trade Test which will subsequently certify them as qualified artisans (Fitter and Turners).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics / Science.
- N2 – N6 Mechanical Engineering Certificate (Fitting & Turning).
- Practical Skills Training Report (Modules 1 – 5 Completed).
- Be between the 18 and 30 years old.
