What the Learnership Entails
- Theoretical and practical training at CTC
- Structured on-the-job training on site
- Completion of all modules, assessments and trade test requirements
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen
- Grade 12 plus N2 / Technical qualification with relevant trade subjects
- Sound knowledge of Safety Systems, Regulations and Standards
- Able and willing to work shifts, standby and call-outs when required
- Certificate of fitness (or able to obtain)
- Valid driver’s licence
Required N2 Subjects by Trade
- Electrician: Maths, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Trade Theory
- Fitter: Maths, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Fitter & Turning Trade Theory
- Instrumentation: Maths, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation Trade Theory
- Plater: Maths, Engineering Science, Plater Structural Steel Drawing, Plater Trade Theory
- Rigger: Maths, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Rigging Trade Theory
Responsibilities
- Attend and complete all theoretical and workplace components
- Meet performance standards, modules and assessments towards the trade test
