Magareng Municipality invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Finance Internship Programme 2024.

Do you have a passion for finance and a desire to gain valuable work experience? The Magareng Local Municipality is offering a two-year internship program for recent graduates with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting, Economics, Internal Audit, or Financial Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree with a major in Accounting, Economics, Internal Audit, or Financial Management (completed within the past three years)
• Prior experience in Internal Audit or Risk Management (advantageous)
• Unemployed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Chief Finance Officer
• Assist with implementing the National Treasury Budget Reform Programme or Municipal Budget
• Develop statistical reporting modules and electronically capture data for all financial management sections
• Performance Evaluation
• Performance will be regularly monitored and assessed by the Chief Finance Officer.
