Job description
Masingita Group of Companies are looking for a talented and driven Marketing Intern to join their team.
- Position: Marketing Internship
- Position Reports: Marketing and Centre Manager
Candidate to be based at Masingita Mall Giyani and will be responsible for assisting marketing managers in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives that support broader marketing strategies of shopping centres.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the development and execution of marketing plans (internal and external).
- Assisting in the distribution of promotional material
- Assisting in the implementation of marketing campaigns
- Coordinating and generating sales of non-Gla income
- Working closely with the marketing manager to track and analyse the performance of marketing programs and initiatives
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholder to gather feedback and provide updates on marketing initiatives
- Assistance with exhibition sales and coordination
- Co-ordinate the execution of all marketing plans which have been developed in consultation with the Marketing Manager
- Assist with event set up, internal and external
- Manage Marketing calendar and task list
Qualifications, Experience, Skills, and Knowledge required:
- Marketing degree or 3-year related qualification
- 1 year experience in marketing in a related industry is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge implementing creative marketing campaigns & promotions
- Knowledge of content management and content strategy
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
Preferred candidates will be from the Greater Giyani Local Municipality with language proficiency in both Tsonga and English.
