About the Programme
The Work Integrated Learning Programme (P1/P2) at Mintek aims to provide practical training to students in the fields of Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Analytical Chemistry. The programme offers hands-on experience in a scientific and research-focused environment under the guidance of expert professionals.
Minimum Qualification and Experience
Applicants must:
- Have an excellent academic record (minimum average of 60%)
- Have completed S4 or S5 in one of the following fields:
- Chemical Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Analytical Chemistry
Required Skills and Attributes
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills
- High numerical aptitude and analytical ability
- Excellent attention to detail
Important Notes
- Duration: 12 months (1 year)
- Accommodation and transport to and from Mintek must be arranged by the candidate
- Psychometric testing may form part of the selection process
