POSTS: TEMPORARY PROCESS CONTROLLERS (PL12) X21
- Remuneration: R195 920.38 per annum (excluding benefits).
- Duration: 12 Months
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 certificate, National Diploma/BSc in Community Water Services and Sanitation, Water Care, or equivalent.
- Class IV or Eligible to be registered as Class IV as per regulation 3630.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Monitor all the plants units, civil structures, and plant machinery.
- Inspect the appearance of water and any changes in the quality of water in each unit of the plant.
- Monitor if water supplied and effluent discharged are in accordance with prescribed standards.
- Regulate and adjust chemical dosages based on the analysis results.
- Operate electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment as well as civil structures relevant to the section.
- Record all water meter readings.
- Perform operational monitoring analysis and recording.
- Evaluate laboratory test results and review water quality reports.
- Interpret reports and communicate poor-quality results to the supervisor.
- Check the stock and calculate the amount of chemical balance per shift.
