About the NGB
The NGB is a schedule 3A public entity established in terms of the National Gambling Act (Act 7 of 2004). It regulates gambling activities across South Africa, ensuring uniform norms and standards while supporting compliance and enforcement.
Internship Opportunities
1. Enforcement – Ref: NGB/Int 003-2025
- Monthly Stipend: R12,000
- Qualification Required:
- National Diploma in Policing
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Law / LLB
2. Gaming Control (GCCD) – Ref: NGB/Int 005-2025
- Monthly Stipend: R12,000
- Qualification Required:
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
- OR Computer Science
3. Marketing & Communications (CSRD) – Ref: NGB/Int 006-2025
- Monthly Stipend: R12,000
- Qualification Required:
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:

- Communications
- Public Relations
- Journalism
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
Duration
- 12-month contract (non-renewable)
Who Should Apply
- Unemployed graduates who have never participated in an internship before.
- Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals and persons living with disabilities.
