About the OSS Hastings Learnership Programme
The OSS Hastings Learnership Programme is a structured work-based learning opportunity for unemployed youth who are passionate about working in a call centre environment. The programme combines practical workplace exposure with formal qualifications training, enabling learners to gain industry-relevant skills and experience.
Successful applicants will enter into a fixed-term learnership agreement with OUTsurance and receive a monthly stipend while completing the programme.
Learnership Details
- Duration: 12 months
- Stipend: R12 000 per month
- Industry: Financial Services & Insurance
- Training: One full day per week dedicated to on-site qualification training
Working Hours
Learners will be required to work shifts according to a pre-determined roster:
- Friday to Monday (9 hours)
- Saturdays (8 hours)
- Sundays (5 hours)
- Two weekdays off per week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday)
- One weekday dedicated to full qualifications training on-site
- Public Holidays: Full-day work required if scheduled on a South African public holiday
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- No work experience required
- South African citizen
- Not previously registered on a Learnership with INSETA
- Aged between 18 and 35
- Unemployed for the last 6 months
