About the Programme:
The PIC Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is designed to empower recent graduates with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and real-world exposure in asset and investment management, with a specific focus on the pivotal role that the PIC plays in the economy. This structured programme aims to cultivate a pipeline of capable investment professionals, ultimately transforming the landscape of the asset management sector.
Available Graduate Programme 2024
Finance:
* Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting/Auditing
* Advantageous knowledge: Taxation, Cost Accounting, Valuations and Financial Modelling
• Research and Projects:
* Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Econometrics
• Information Security:
* Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science /Information Technology
* Advantageous certification: CompTIA Security+
• Platform Reliability Engineering:
* Qualification: Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
* Advantageous certifications: ITIL, MCITP, Microsoft Office 365/M365, Microsoft Certifications
• Software Engineering:
* Qualification: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
* Skills: Software Development (Programming, object-oriented design, software testing and debugging)
• Governance Risk and Compliance and Digital Experience:
* Qualification: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related fields
• Human Capital:
* Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
• Investment Management (PMV & Inv Ops Properties):
* Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Finance/Properties
Qualifying Criteria:
▪ Applicants must be South African Citizens
▪ Obtained a 60% pass in each module and an overall average of the most recent results.
▪ Have no work experience in the field of study and have not participated in any graduate/leadership programme.
▪ A strong desire to work in financial services (asset and investment management)
▪ Proven record of academic excellence.
▪ Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
