Pyrotec is inviting applications from eligible students for its 2026 Bursary Programme, aimed at supporting talented students who demonstrate academic potential and a genuine interest in their chosen fields.

Bursaries are awarded for studies in the following fields (from NQF Level 4 to NQF Level 10):
- Architecture, Town Planning and Surveying
- Business, Management and Economics

- Information Technology and Communication
- Media, Art, Literature, Design, Graphic Design and DTP

Expenses Covered by the Bursary
The Pyrotec bursary provides full and comprehensive financial support, covering:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Textbooks (up to R5 000 per annum)
- Accommodation in a university residence or hostel
- Transport costs (where applicable)
Payment Structure:
- Tuition and registration fees are paid directly to the institution
- Textbook and transport allowances are paid directly to the student
- Bursary payments are made once per year

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following minimum requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be an AA/EE candidate
- Must be studying or intending to study in one of the listed fields
- Must be registered or accepted at a South African university
- Must demonstrate a genuine interest in their field of study
- Preference will be given to first-year students with a minimum overall average of 70%
Failure to meet all requirements will result in the application not being considered.
