If you’re a young Chemical Engineering graduate or final-year student in South Africa—especially from the Free State—this opportunity could be your big break. Renergen, a pioneering South African energy company, is recruiting four (4) Production Interns for a two-year Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programme based at its Virginia Gas Plant.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Renergen Production Internship Programme 2026, you must:
- Have N6 or S4 in Chemical Engineering, and:
- TVET N6 candidates must need in-service training
- University of Technology S4 candidates must need WIL placement
- Have no prior plant experience (this is an entry-level, training-focused role)
- Hold a valid driver’s licence (Code 08 or higher)
- Be a Free State resident, preferably from Virginia or Welkom
- Be available to start in February 2026
- Have a valid South African ID
