About the RAF Internship Programme

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is committed to youth skills development by providing unemployed graduates with workplace experience opportunities. The internship programme aims to help young graduates gain practical administrative and office management experience within a professional environment.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to various office administration and stakeholder management functions within the Office of the Regional General Manager (RGM).

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • NQF Level 6 Diploma in:
    • Office Management
    • Administration
    • Information and Corporate Management
  • Certified copy of South African ID
  • Certified copy of academic transcript
  • Updated CV
  • Motivational letter

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful interns may perform the following duties:

  • Maintain and update document registers
  • Handle stakeholder queries and follow-ups
  • Perform office administration duties
  • Filing and data capturing
  • Diary management
  • Organise meetings and appointments
  • Draft and proofread emails and memos
  • Screen calls and incoming correspondence
  • Prepare reports and presentations
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Assist with travel arrangements
  • Take meeting minutes
  • Support small projects and events
  • Manage office supplies and inventory

Required Skills and Competencies

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional office etiquette
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
