South African Breweries (SAB) is offering a unique opportunity for experienced individuals to become qualified artisans through the Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL) Trainee Programme 2025.

If you have relevant work experience but lack a formal qualification, this programme is your chance to obtain a trade test qualification accredited by QCTO NAMB DHET.

Minimum Requirements:

You must have one of the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • N2 Certificate (with relevant trade theory) + 3 years work experience
  • Technical trade theory programme (NQF 3) + 3 years work experience
  • Engineering NCV Level 3 + 3 years work experience
  • Engineering NCV Level 4 + completion of all modules + 18 months work experience
  • Technical Grade 12 (Maths, Science, relevant trade theory) + 3 years work experience
  • Grade 9 + 4 years work experience
  • Relevant N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma (T/S/N stream) + 18 months work experience
