Samancor: SHEQ Learnerships 2022 / 2023

Samancor invites unemployed youth to apply for SHEQ Learnership Programme 2022 / 2023.

Learnership Location: North-West and Steelpoort, Limpopo

Learnership Closing Date: 01 December 2022

Selected individuals are trained within the Health and Safety function of the SHEQ discipline which include theory and practical training to both the mining and smelting environment. 

About the Training:

• Period of training: potentially 24-36 months, including practical training at the different business units
• Work back obligation equal to the total time of the training period will be compulsory

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric with Maths and Science (40%)

The following will be advantageous:

• Studying towards a tertiary qualification in any of the SHEQ fields will be advantageous. 
• Valid Driver’s License
• Computer Literate (MS Office)
• Some exploration into/ exposure to & knowledge of the SHEQ environment
