The South African Speech Language and Hearing Association (SASLHA) invites eligible students to apply for the Myrtle L Aron Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year. This bursary is aimed at supporting deserving and financially needy students pursuing careers in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in South Africa.

Required Supporting Documents
Applicants must upload clear and legible copies of the following documents (all are compulsory):
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copy of Matric certificate
- Certified copy of full academic record / most recent results
- University course listing
- Testimonials from a clinical supervisor or relevant professional (on official letterhead)
- 3 months’ recent personal bank statements
- Short video recording (maximum 2 minutes, under 10MB) answering: “Tell us something about yourself, why you believe you deserve this award and how you plan on contributing to the profession in the short and medium term.”
- Signed affidavit confirming that all documents submitted are original or true copies
Incomplete applications may be disqualified.
