South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) invites unemployed graduates to apply for the 12 months Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

ABOUT SASSA

SASSA is a national agency of the South African government created in April 2005 to administer South Africa’s social security system, including by distributing social grants, on behalf of the Department of Social Development (DSD).

SASSA is a dynamic organisation that provides a range of essential services to a diverse group of

SASSA is under the oversight, but not the operational control, of DSD and the Ministry of Social Development.

Grant Administration (4 post)

Qualifications: Degree/B-Tech/ National Diploma (NQF Level 6 or 7) in Public/Business Administration/Social Sciences: (Ref No: SASIn-01).

Regional Executive Manager’s office (1 post)

Qualifications: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma: Public Management/Office Management/Business Administration (NQF Level 6 or 7) (Ref No SAS In-02).

Human Capital Management (1 post)

Qualifications: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma: Human Resource Management/ Human Resource Development/Labour Relations NQF Level 6 or 7(Ref No: SASIn-03).

Supply Chain Management) (2 Posts)

Qualifications: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma in Financial Accounting/Supply Chain management (NQF Level 6 or 7) (Ref No: SASIn-04).

Facilities Management (1 post)

Qualification: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma in Transport/Fleet Management and Facilities Management (NQF Level 6 or 7) (Ref No SASIn-05).

Communications and Marketing (1 post)

Qualification: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma in Public Relations/Communications/Journalism (NQF Level 6 or 7) (Ref No: SASIn-06).

Information Communication and Technology (1 post)

Qualification: Degree/B-Tech/National Diploma in Information Technology (NQF Level 6 or 7) (Ref No: SASIn-07).

General Requirements

All applications must be between the ages of 18-35 years and be South African Citizens.

Applicants who need experimental training must have completed and studied at the recognised/ accredited institutions of higher learning in the Republic of South Africa.

An all-inclusive monthly stipend of R7043.31 will be payable. Applicants interested in applying for the post should send their applications (CV, New Z83 and attach the highest qualification only) quoting the relevant reference number and position name as per the advert.

Applicants interested applying for internship Programme should send their applications (Fully completed Z83, Identity Document or Smart Card, detailed CV and certified copies of Senior Certificate and post matric qualification acquired quoting the relevant reference number to the relevant address and position name as per the advert.

The subject heading of the email should indicate Western Cape Programme name you are applying for. Kindly note that other documents e.g. Certificates, ID and Drivers Licence etc. should be submitted upon request.
