What the Apprenticeship Involves

Successful learners will:

  • Undergo structured artisan training over four years
  • Receive hands-on experience in lubrication equipment maintenance and servicing
  • Participate in rotational placements across different SKF branches
  • Gain exposure required to meet trade qualification standards

Applicants must be fully available for placement, including relocation where required.


Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following educational requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science, OR
  • Technical Grade 12 with Mathematics and Engineering Science, OR
  • N2 Engineering with Mathematics and Engineering Science, OR
  • N3–N6 Mechanical Engineering (advantageous)

Additional advantage:

  • Valid driver’s licence
