The Social Housing Regulatory Authority is offering a two-year internship programme aimed at providing workplace experience to unemployed young graduates from universities and universities of technology.

The programme is open to South African citizens below the age of 35.

Tenant Liaison Officer Intern

The successful candidate will be placed in Cape Town and will support the management of a SOHCO housing complex.

Role Purpose

The Tenant Liaison Officer Intern will assist with the management of a SOHCO complex.

The role includes supporting tenant relationships, rental collection, leasing of units, maintenance matters and general administration.

  • Take-on, handover and record keeping
  • Accounts
  • Debt collection
  • Lease management
  • Tenant relations
  • Maintenance queries

  • Welfare advice and support

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12.
  • A relevant qualification in the Built Environment, including building, property or rental management.
  • Computer literacy.

The opportunity is aimed at unemployed young graduates below the age of 35.
