STA Coal Mining Company invites South African youth to apply for the Learner Miner Programme 2025.
Internship Application Closing Date: 31 July 2025
Internship Location: Ermelo, Mpumalanga, South Africa
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 11 or Equivalent with Maths and Science
- B Tech or M Tech in Mining Engineering (advantageous)
- Physically fit and able to work underground
- Flexibility to work shifts
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience Required
- Must be able to work underground
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Requirements
- Clear criminal record
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license
- South African citizenship
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Hardworking and dedicated
- Must provide certified copies of all qualifications and ID document
- Grade 12 Certificate, N2 Certificate, and ID must be certified and not older than 3 months
