State Information Technology Agency invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for the Internship Programme 2026/27.

Internship Location: SITA, Gauteng (Pretoria), Mpumalanga, Northern Cape and Eastern Cape, South Africa
Stipend: R7 800 per month
Duration: 12 months
Internship Programme Overview
The SITA Internship Programme offers opportunities in Non-ICT fields across various provinces. This 12-month programme provides practical workplace experience to unemployed graduates.
Interns who successfully complete the programme and meet performance requirements may be considered for absorption into critical positions within SITA.
Preference will be given to applicants residing within the respective provinces.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Unemployed South African citizens aged between 18 and 35 years
- In possession of a Bachelor’s degree, 3-year National Diploma or relevant qualification at NQF Level 6 or higher
- No work experience required
- Applicants who previously completed any learnership or internship with SITA will not be considered
Preference will be given to:
- People living with disabilities
- Whites, Coloureds and Indians (in line with Employment Equity plan)
