About the Learnership
The W&RSETA Learnership gives unemployed youth an opportunity to gain practical skills in the wholesale and retail sector.
Learners will attend theoretical training sessions facilitated by a training provider and complete workplace duties linked to retail operations.

Responsibilities
Successful learners will attend all theoretical training sessions facilitated by the training provider.
Learners will complete assessments, assignments and a Portfolio of Evidence in line with W&RSETA requirements.
Learners will perform workplace duties related to retail operations.
These duties may include assisting customers and delivering basic customer service.
Learners may assist with merchandising and replenishing stock.
Learners may support point-of-sale operations where applicable.
Learners will help maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
Learners must follow company policies, procedures and standard operating practices.
Learners must comply with health and safety requirements in the workplace.
Learners must maintain accurate logbook entries and track workplace experience.
Learners must demonstrate professional behaviour, punctuality and consistent attendance.
Learners must engage with supervisors, mentors and facilitators to support learning progress.
