Transnet WIL Trainee Programme 2026
Transnet is offering a 12-month Work Integrated Learning programme aimed at providing students and recent graduates with practical workplace experience.

What WIL Trainees Will Do
Participants may be required to:
- Assist with departmental projects and work-stream activities.
- Perform routine operational tasks under supervision.
- Support administrative functions.
- Assist with documentation and reporting.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops.
- Take part in mentorship programmes.
- Shadow experienced employees.
- Interact with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
- Conduct basic research and data collection.
- Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office.
- Follow Transnet policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
