Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

Academic Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics AND Physical Science
(Mathematical Literacy is NOT accepted)

AND one of the following:

Option 1: N2 Engineering Studies (or higher)

  • All required trade subjects must be passed with minimum 40%

OR

Option 2: NCV Level 4 in the relevant trade

  • All subjects passed with minimum 40%

Other Requirements

  • Must be a resident of JTG District
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proof of residence (including the high school attended)
  • Ability to obtain a Medical Fitness Certificate
