UCT Admission Requirements for Engineering & the Built Environment

Your admission to University of  Cape Town (UCT) is dependent on you meeting the specific admission requirements / APS for your chosen qualification. If you don’t meet these requirements, you may want to consider alternative qualifications or possibly, if you qualify, an extended programme (refer to the college admission requirements), enabling you to register for limited modules in your first year.

Here are the UCT Admission Requirements for Faculty of Engineering & the Built Environment:

For the admission to the Faculty of Engineering & the Built Environment, applicants must obtain the National Senior Certificate endorsed for degree studies, meet the required admission point score and satisfy specified subject requirements.

Admission will be based on both your National Senior Certificate and National Benchmark Test results.
