uMngeni-uThukela Water invites unemployed graduates to apply for Graduate Internship Programme 2025.

uMngeni-uThukela Water: Graduate Training Programme 2024 – 2027

Kickstart your career with uMngeni-uThukela Water! We are offering a 36-month Graduate Training Programme aimed at developing young professionals in the fields of Hydrology and Environmental Management.

Available Positions

  • Hydrology (4 positions)
  • Environmental Management (Number of positions not specified)

Requirements

  • South African citizens residing in KwaZulu-Natal.
  • First preference will be given to applicants who are permanent residents of the identified local municipalities within UUW operational areas.
  • The programme is strictly targeting unemployed youth (under 35 years).
  • Applicants who have participated in another Internship/Graduate Training Programme before will not be considered.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Honours in Hydrology with Hydrological Modelling.
  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management/Natural Resources Management.
  • An appropriate qualification from a Council of Higher Education (CHE) accredited tertiary institution.

Programme Details

  • The programme will run for a period of 36 months (3 years).
  • Gain hands-on experience and mentorship in a dynamic work environment.
